Teams

Players are divided by gender and grade. We attempt to form teams around schools and/or neighborhoods to facilitate carpooling. We consider special requests for coaches and/or teammates. In most cases we can accommodate such requests, except in cases where roster space on a particular team is not available or when the registration is not timely. Late registrations are placed on teams on a first come first served basis until team rosters are filled.

In the event we lose a coach, parents on that roster will be asked to come forward to coach. If no one comes forward, the team is disbanded, and players are reassigned to other teams. If there are no openings on other teams, a partial refund will be issued.

 

Games

Games are held on Saturdays at Lippold Park. In rare cases we may need to schedule games for weeknight evenings.

Practices

 Practices are held in neighborhood parks or school grounds typically twice per week on weekdays in the late afternoon or early evenings. Our volunteer Rec Coaches determine their team’s practice schedule – days, times and locations. For that reason, we do not keep track teams' practice schedules and cannot honor special
requests for a particular practice schedule. Coaches put in countless hours and are not compensated for their time, so please cooperate with them regarding practices. CLSF will not issue a refund or move players to another team because practice schedules conflict with other activities. If your player’s practice schedule is of utmost
importance to you then please consider volunteering to coach.
