How to Become a Referee?

Are you interested in becoming a referee? Will you be at least 12 years old before the start of the season? If you are, then all you need to do is take the MCSRA New Referee Class and participate in a referee practice game. The class is filled with a waiting list.  To get on the list email Ref Bob. Up to sixteen new candidates will be selected from the waitlist each season on a first-come-first-served basis.

Already a referee and interested in refereeing games in Crystal Lake?

If you already referee for the CLSF, you are always being observed by the referee committee. Based on your experience and your ability you will be asked to advance to the next level. You will be notified by a letter as to your next advancement. If you choose to advance you must take the appropriate MCSRA class and in some cases referee in a practice game.

USSF Entry Level
