REFEREES
How to Be a Referee
Are you interested in becoming a referee? Will you be at least 12 years old before the start of the fall season? If you are, then all you need to do is take the MCSRA New Referee Class and participate in a referee practice game. The class will be offered before each season. The next class will be offered Saturday, February 25, at Hannah Beardsley Middle School.. The class size is limited to the first 12 referees, so download and complete the registration form.
If you already referee for the CLSF, you are always being observed by the referee committee. Based on your experience and your ability you will be asked to advance to the next level. You will be notified by a letter as to your next advancement. If you choose to advance you must take the appropriate MCSRA class and in some cases referee in a practice game.
