YOUTH ACADEMY

Youth Academy Programs 2011-12

The Youth Academy is for players interested in playing competitive soccer and receiving professional coaching. This program is hybrid program of the Recreational and FORCE program where players will be allowed to continue playing with their recreational team, but will also train and play one game per week (during the fall/spring season) with their Academy Team.

The focus of this program is to enhance players technical skills to better prepare them for the transition from recreational soccer to competitive soccer. Players will focus on the foundations of the game that will better prepare them for the U9 FORCE Program.

U6&7 Youth Academy players will:

  1. ~ Train one day per week with their recreational team and one day with their Academy team
    1. ~ Play in one CLSF Recreational game per week and a minimum of 6 4v4 Academy league games
  2. ~ Train two days per week throughout the winter (January - March) with their Academy Team (one skills session / one scrimmage session)
